Harmonize Breathwork Exploration
“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor”
Thich Nhat Hahn
Settle deep within yourself and harmonize your mind-body through an hour of deep conscious breathing. The class starts with light stretching and directed exercises to warm up the breathing muscles as we let go and prepare for the breathwork. We then move onto more active forms of breathing, alternating deep conscious breaths and breath holds, allowing us to relax deeply and access the present moment. Breathing during this part of the class gives us access to our deep neurology giving us an opportunity to work through stuck emotions and access the pharmacy within us. The class concludes with a period of relaxation, where participants have a chance to fully rest and recover with light music or a guided meditation. The goal of the class is to help participants learn and experience a technique that strengthens the body and mind, reduces stress and tension, and improves overall well-being.
*This class requires a level of general health and is not suitable for those with epilepsy or pregnant women.

Active Rest Zoom Breathing Class

Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop at Yellow Barn Farm
Put yourself in the expert hands of a certified WHM Instructor to learn the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Commitment. Find out how you can utilize oxygen and cold exposure to optimize body & mind, and learn about the underlying physiology.
These workshops are limited to 30 participants, and Instructors often choose to keep them much smaller. The intimate quality allows for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms related to an illness, or are just curious to find out what the Wim Hof Method is all about— a WHM workshop offers something for everyone.
The program generally kicks off with an introduction to the Wim Hof Method, and always includes a breathing session and an (optional) ice bath. At the end there is ample room for reflection, and the Instructor is there to answer questions throughout the workshop.
Instructors have their own specializations, and there is some variation across the individual workshops. A detailed overview of the day is sent out upon registration.
If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm.

Elevate Your State
“By changing the breath pattern one can induce a chosen state of mind.” - Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati
Discover how the breath can be used as a tool for physical, mental, and spiritual growth during the breathing fundamentals class. We start by exploring what an efficient breath looks and feels like within our bodies, using movement and directed exercises as our guides. The class then moves on to a guided breathing session, delving into techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, box breathing, and nasal breathing which are designed to improve lung capacity, oxygenate the body and reduce stress. By incorporating visualization and intention into our session, we go into the spiritual dimension of the breath, encountering our inner strength along the way. The goal of this class is for students to learn breathing techniques in a simple and experiential manner while gaining the immediate benefits of the practice in a supportive community.
